They inspected our home when we purchased it three years ago, so when water damage appeared on our ceiling I know I could call them. Dan came the day and time I requested, found the cause of the issue (surprisingly did NOT need a plumber) and checked out the rest of our house for any other problems. He fixed a few minor things on the spot, no extra charge. They even gave us a discount as a returning customer. I would have had to pay a plumber at least $100 just to come out and tell me that I needed a tile installer instead! Domicile was well worth the cost.

Dan was a professional throughout: punctual, available by phone, and a thorough communicator. His technical knowledge was exactly what we needed, and he was able to explain it both technically and in plainspeak – so we and our contractors can understand the issue and recommended resolutions. He was able to refer us contractors for our problem as well, which is a huge relief when wading into the vast sea of roofers and masons with unknown capabilities.

We reached out to Dan to do an inspection on a couple things that concerned us about our new home.

Dan was extremely helpful in walking through each of our concerns, explaining what the issue was (or was not) and empowering us to do some fixes on our own (through simple, affordable steps). He was very thorough and investigated areas that we hadn’t even thought to ask about.

I have never seen an inspection report as detailed as theirs, I mean it’s literally down to every detail you can possibly think of. Dan Cullen did the inspection for our new home purchase, he came on site 40 mins earlier and finished the whole thing an hour earlier than expected. Initially I was worried that he might tried to rush through things, but when I saw the report, it has 70 items, 70! Covers everything from top of the attic to the bottom corners of the crawl space, each with a picture. With this report we are now in a good position in the negotiation process.

Yes they are expensive, but they WILL find everything wrong about the property and save you thousands down the road. Highly recommend them to anyone who is buying a new property!

Dan is an amazing inspector. He saved us from buying one house that had way more masonry problems than we wanted to deal with and we are very grateful to him for that. He helped us with our inspection for a different house that we ultimately bought and he did such a thorough job that we felt very comfortable going through with the purchase. He also went out of his way to help me find contractors and to work around our very tight inspection deadline.

His report is extremely thorough and well organized and gives suggestions on how to remediate the issues. I think he may annoy some realtors because he’s a very straight shooter and is going to tell you every single thing that is wrong even if it blows up the sale, but that is what you want in an inspector in my opinion. I highly recommend Dan and this team.
